Über Elfie Schürfeld-Todor
Communications Strategist und Autorin.
.
Hintergrund
Kommunikationsstrategin und Autorin.
Aufgewachsen in Berlin, fünf Jahre in Aveiro (Portugal), heute in Hamburg.
Politik. Kommunale Mandate, Landesebene und internationale Projekte. Eine andere Bühne als Markenkommunikation, aber dieselben Fragen: Positionierung, Kommunikation und Wirkung.
Wissenschaftlicher Anker. Bachelor-Thesis:
The Human as Brand Name. A Survey on the Transferability of Brand Name to Humans (Note 1,3).
Strategy rarely fails at the strategy.
Strategy fails because nobody translates it. Into structures teams can actually execute. Into sequences that match reality. Into language that does not stay behind in the workshop.
15 years at the interface of strategy and execution. First for brands. Later in politics. Today increasingly on the question of how AI changes the rules of communication, visibility and reputation.
For four years I have worked with AI as a constant sparring partner. Not as an efficiency hack and not as a substitute for thinking, but as a second instance that reads along, contradicts and opens new perspectives.
What interests me is less the technology itself than the shift it sets off.
11iE is the place for the longer thoughts.
Here I write about communication, visibility, reputation and personal brands in the age of AI. About new mediators and the question of how the public sphere changes when AI starts to read along, classify and prepare decisions.
The texts grow out of practice, theory and observation. With evidence, with position, without how-to promises.
Background
Communications strategist and author.
Raised in Berlin, five years in Aveiro (Portugal), now in Hamburg.
For more than 15 years I have worked at the interface of strategy and execution: first in brand communication, later in political communication, and today increasingly on the impact of AI on communication, visibility and reputation.
Brands. Responsible for the cross-media unit at RTL Radiovermarktung. Then nine years self-employed in strategy and campaign work for various brands, with a focus on healthcare and lifestyle.
Politics. Municipal mandates, state level and international projects. A different stage than brand communication, but the same questions: positioning, communication and impact.
Academic anchor. Bachelor thesis:
The Human as Brand Name. A Survey on the Transferability of Brand Name to Humans (final grade 1.3).
The foundation for much of my current thinking on personal brands, authenticity, reputation and political personalisation.
Where else to find me
On LinkedIn I write regularly, fast and inside the running debate.
11iE holds what needs to be longer than a LinkedIn post.
If you want the short form, follow me there. If you want the long form, you are in the right place.
